10/20 6 max
I raise KcTc in MP, folded to bb who calls.
Notes on bb: calls down with literally anything.

Flop 3s4d5h
bb donks, I call
Turn 8c
bb bets, I call
River 8d
bb bets, I call

I'd rather a river raise then a call.

why? no pair is ever folding right? Ace high might not even fold.

This greatly depends on his aggression factor. If he's agressive I call down because the flop is so draw heavy and no cards complete the straight. But if he's passive, seems like an easy fold on the turn.

whats your reasoning? If he's agressive he's betting down 6x or 2x.

I planned to fold on the turn or river if a 2,6,7 hit

it looks ok until you take into account that you're getting awful effective odds, have no backdoor outs, have tainted overcard outs, and that all reasonable hands he could have probably have around 50% equity vs you. then it looks not so good

well ok. so im not folding the flop, because folding the flop is weak right? im either raising or calling. the turn is such a nonscare card. there are effectively no fluhs draws, so i decide to peel without odds but doing soing because i plan to call donw a non 2 6 7 river. then the river is a beauty. how can i not call down with taht river? Where do I find a fold?

when your opponent donks on a 345 flop after you've raised preflop, most of the time you will see a showdown. because of this, you are protected the times you can't. you shouldn't always do the same thing. usually the cards are enough to mix up your play. here you miss the flop, there are lots of good draws available, you have only K high. you can fold the flop

assuming flop was 456r instead and i had AQ, does that change things?

I def fold on either the flop or turn.

You turned yourself into BB, the guy who "calls down with literally anything."

I'd call down on that board but I don't think it's that clear-cut (in other words I'd do it but I don't know it's right)

exactly my thoughts :P.
btw i normally fold the flop or turn on these hands, so this was one of once in a lifetime exceptions.
