PRE-FLOP
CHRISIS1 calls $20, stoy4ika folds, tobysboy folds, Drezner calls $20, Slidesguy calls $20, Slyfox121 folds, oldfar9 folds, Stilleto x calls $10 and is all-in, Hero checks.

FLOP

Hero checks, CHRISIS1 checks, Drezner bets $150, Slidesguy calls $150, [b]Hero?

I'm wondering if I'm overdoing the "play tight early" idea, because I simply folded. Do you lead out on the flop? Assuming you checked, do you call the 150? My thinking is that Slidesguy almost has to be on a draw too. So even if I hit, I'm at best splitting with him. Unless he has two hearts in which case I have even fewer outs...

I apologize for the format, cannot get the converter to work...

Instafold. Your straight outs are dirty because of the flush draw. You have no implied odds if you make your straight. And, like you said, you could be drawing to a split pot at best.

Thanks for reassuring me, but is this an instacheck on flop? I've seen alot of players but out "feeler" bets here...I'm wondering if I overvalue my chips in the early stages.

I think the flop check is fine. It's not like you would be bothered by a free card here.

If it is headsup, I like a bet more.

If you folded here, you played it perfectly, IMO.
