Saturday 100 SNG Challenge!!

I'm going to be starting at the 55's and moving to the 109's later in the day if I'm playing well.

Got 6 red bulls, its 1am in Thailand (10am PST) and I'm rested and ready. Got a cumphy chair and permission to stay in this internet cafe all day, only 50 baht an hour. Ship it!

Me, MTH, my laptop and PartyBeta are going to be 6 tabling continuos to start...adding more tables as the day goes on, hopefully up to 9 by days end. 100 tourneys looks like about 1pm Thai time, 10pm PST.

Goal is just to play 100 SNG's and not be results oriented. Play them well and open each tourney with the same calm focus, regardless of if I just got sucked out on the bubble, or won a tourney.

I'd like to do it, but it's already evening here, and I'm kind of tired, and I have this exam monday I haven't studied for yet. Not that I won't play poker now, but actually doing a challenge would make me feel guilty somehow. lol

don't I (and all of you...) wish, i don't think they even know what poker is...thai people are very loose with money, very poor with simple math, and avoid confrontation at all costs. can you say a nation full of loose passives?

I know there are quite a few 2+2ers who hae played or are playing from thailand, but are there any issues? Looks like party and neteller don't allow use from thailand, has that been a problem at all??

I was planning on playing about 80 games a day for the rest of the month to try to grind out another $10,000...and I was going to do this in the $55s. So, have fun staying off my tables or get up to the $109s asap cause i'm starting in about 10 minutes. /images/graemlins/wink.gif Gl with your games.

it sucks at times, but you can use proxy servers and other things to get around that

all the money you save, and how awesome it is, more than make up for those issues

Lol. That brings back memories from last year when I visited Thailand. There was this one street where my friends liked to go because they had a lot of street vendors selling stuff for cheap. But all along the side of that street were strip clubs and people promoting their "sex shows." Good times.

40 SNG's, I'm done.

40% of the goal but more than I've played in any one day since the last time I was in America, so thats cool.

What isn't cool is I just played a long set of 109's and felt like I was winning big, then I check my balance only to realize I went 7/22 for -$298 /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Oh well. Better luck tomorrow. I'ma get some sleep...7:30am Thai time.

I mean 40sngs a day, not $40/day. I usually 10 table $55s, so $40/hr would be a really $hitty hourly rate...
