Need quick advice...

Top 7 of this tournament qualify for the main 100k tournament on party. 10 players are left. Blinds are 400-800 increasing to 500-1000 in 5 minutes. I have 10k chips. One guy at the table is raising everyother hand and playing crazy. Should I fold every hand except AA and KK?

9 left now and i have 13k chips.

what does the other have of chips?

if youre ahead in chips compared to others then fold (they have to make a move soon)

else make a move when you have top best 10 hands imho

you should know how to play it at this level, when youre close to make it, then fold fold fold, and use the cooperative play where you call shortstacks all-in and check it down.

You can usually not call a maniac with good chipcount because you dont get the odds you need when youre so close to make it unless if youre shortstacked and desperate. If youre have 10x the big blind and shortstacked then you should consider when to make a move all-in. (cards which are very good vs headsup, usually dont go all-in vs bigstack in the blinds!).

You dont want to go all-in with just 3x bigblind, all is gonna call you and check you out of the game.

When a maniac is in the game, just be patient and let others take the battle.
