This is why I still limp JJ in early position. Even though most people here raise it. I think you have to fold to his reraise. But then again.....you are the Hero. And the Hero always wins against the Evil Genius.

I think folding to the reraise is ok, and I think that limping here is just totally ridiculous. The blind is 1/17th of your stack and you have JJ!

Oh yea. For some reason I totally missed that the blinds are 25/50. I thought it was earlier. Yea, limping sucks then. But I still fold to the Evil Genius.

If you are folding to a reraise, I think you should raise less, or limp as splashpot suggested.

I take back that nice thing I said about you earlier, splashpot.

meh this is borderline for me, I fold TT and push QQ. Part of me doesnt like folding JJ with 17x, but if I was to do it, this would be the spot.

I raise to 125 instead of 150 but in any case the reraise to 375 is especially dangerous.

What's magical about the 25chip difference?

Keeps the pot a bit smaller for when you have to play postflop. It's not a huge difference, but since the raise is a greater % of the stacks, it doesnt have to be as big.

Hey, something I agree with curtains on.

I couldn't fold these here /images/graemlins/wink.gif Generally if I play something in EP it's for a raise, usually 125 at 25/50. Whether I call or not would depend on my read of the player of course, or even just my intuition. I don't actually like limping, but it couldn't be that bad on at a passive table.

Lack of sex makes both of us generally disagreeable. Start praising Latina women and this will certainly change.

I agreed with you earlier this week and I agree with you here. Make it 125 and fold to the re-raise. What kind of range are we putting the villain on that we can beat without a J on the flop?

Yes Im referring to your earlier post from a long time ago where you stated "I don't believe Ive ever agreed with one thing curtains has said!"

I never said you didnt learn the error of your ways.

I agree, limping on a passive table isn't bad at all.

P.S. usually I agree with curtains. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
