I would consider betting the flop in hand #1, do you think your hand is strong enough to slowplay? Second hand I think I like a value bet on the river, however it sucks to get CR'd with the flush card appearing..

yeah, you are the one that showed strength preflop, I think you have to bet the flop in the first one.
