View Full Version : ($33) Who wants to be in my study group?!

So here's the deal. I see that there have been a few people that have moved up to the $33s recently. Well I've run into a brick wall over the last week or so (only ~75 SNGs) and I'd like someone to go over some HHs. I figure if we get 4-5 people together we can get a few different opinions on hands and such.

I know a few people tried this at the $11-$22s, so i decided to give it a shot. PM me or reply here if you're interested.

Sure, why not, couldn't hurt.

I am just moving up to the 33s and hopefully 55s soon after.

Have played a few 1000 22s and lots of 11s already.

I've taken a short break from SNGs and am ready to get back into them after the end of the semester. I'd be interested, PM me with your AIM name or something (both of you).

I'm in. How much time should it take to review a complete SNG HH? One guy I hired to do mine spent rought an hour per but gave reads on all the players. Seeing him develop reads helped a alot.

That said I can't afford to spend that much time reviewing everybody elses... Maybe we can set up our own forum somewhere and post hands to each other? Like a clan/guild forum or something. Also VERY interested in pooling pokertracker HHs together so that we'd have more reads via HUD when we sit down at an SNG.

Not willing to give up 1k SNGs for somebody's 75, but maybe we can work something out.

I'd be interested also. I'm playing primarily $11's and $22's right now.

I guess I'll join in. I've already played a few hundred 33s with pretty good success. But this couldn't hurt and I'll have lots of free time in Jan.

I'm interested in this too, if you guys are interested in letting me join. I play the 11's right now, but I have a feeling that very soon I'm going to be playing the $22, and then who knows.

yes it is. and you're more than welcome to join. It'll probably be a day or so before I think of a way to set this up, or of course we can just send random HHs to whoever we want, but i kinda wanna make it organized.

I'll keep in touch with anyone that is interested. And if you have ANY ideas on how to run this, make them known.

I too am interested in this. I play a lot of 33's and my results have been poor latley (about 6% roi over 2000 sngs) and I would really like someone to look over some of my HH's to spot leaks I dont see.

Hey guys,

This is a site that lets you post HH in a public domain so that registered users can see them. This is a pretty good way to share HH, but I'm not sure there is a way to make a private section where we can share our HH.

lol one hour to go over a single HH!! More like 5-15 minutes max, depending on the length.

You guys might try getting in touch with gildwulf. He started something like this up a while back, not sure if it's still going or not. Anyway send him a PM, there's already a board set up and everything where people were supposed to trade high volumes of HHs.

I used to pasterbate before i found poker. Now, having found a more profitable AND RESPECTABLE hobby, I've ceased pasterbating. However, if you will only join us if we group pasterbate, I will seriously consider starting back up (for the group's sake.)

Ugh. I'm sorry for the delay on this, guys. Its finals week and i didn't expect it to suck this much. If someone else wants to take over this, that would be fine. Otherwise, i won't be able to do much until friday.

FINALS ARE OVER!! FINALLY. So how does all this sound? I decided to assign numbers to each person who showed interest. If you decide that you don't want to be part of this, let me know so i can correct it.
