its logical to think that the higher buyin players will have a easier time getting the top places but since only #1 and #2 get the points, maybe its easier for lowr buyin people to do better. it might be easier. since i do 55's how many 55'ers are there in the top 10 TLB for party. what limits does the top TLB people play?

I think the top players play $215's. I never play during peak hours because I live in the netherlands, but the $55 players I recognize in the top100 are:
21st Fischenstein
23 Hirlemad (?)
24 r_su_27
35 okemosgod
49 valorous
57 lilbr0wn22
62 wadebelak02
87 Frozen_Acct

I think they play $55's. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Guys I see on the $33s all the time:

#2 LangThang123 (1k hands)
#4 QuasiFiction (1200 hands)
#13 bqyxcqsg
#20 Em1ssar1 (some)
#23 Hirlemad (some)
#28 Getting_High (some)
#39 ME
#41 NoFearHelps
#45 wokethebears (311 hands)
#47 AJgluteia (415 hands)
#49 valorous (210 hands)
#54 stockmaster2
#84 acarperpu
#88 Bluff_Bluff_

started to get a little lazy after 50. Anyway, the above are people I see pretty regularly on the $33s (or less regularly if I posted "some"). Furthermore, if you go plug in some numbers into the PP calculator, you'll see that the best way is to play a limit in which you can place first or second THE MOST. And then maximize the number of games at that level.

Anyway, Langthang and Quasi must be just logging incredible amount of hours to get to the number of points they are at.

So my point is, if you put in about 2500+ at the $55s, and you have a normal 38%+ ITM, I would think you'll be in the top 20 for sure, and perhaps higher. I think I estimated that Quasy/Lang are on pace to do about 3500 tourneys for the month.

I'm intrigued... Maybe I'll go fiddle with excel and see if I can figure out a point-maximizing method.

Finish distributions may not be perfect, but this should give you a general idea.

why not throw in the 430 step 5 minis, 1065 step 5s, and 2150 step 4 highers too, because people WILL be playing those. holla
