Addictive Game

I can't get past the level where you get the drain 20 rune power. I keep getting a bunch of Piro 3 cards and they hit me with 5 lightning 18s.

I swear to god... I wanted to just die so I could go to sleep, but I couldn't do it.

I had to keep chugging along (i think i got up to 7k points or something after I bought all the crap from the crypt killer or whoever that person is /images/graemlins/grin.gif )

Plan of action ... go to bed now, wake up in 3 hours. Do my project for this class (should take about an hour) then study like mad for the final at 11:45.

Kurosh, I love you and hate you at the exact same time because it is a kick ass game. Just horrible timing.

well...i beat it, i think it only lasted til level 11, but damn this game is addictive, pretty fun though.

I beat both and now I'm playing again without buying any items so I can get a high score.

Awesome, I found that game a couple weeks ago - I'm glad everyone else is addicted to it too. "Get to the top" is too easy - play "Survival". I got a pretty high score on the biggest hits too.

What do you think is the best strategy for the most points? I'm starting to think an item or two might be good. The anti-poison one or the +20 health one?

I'm gonna try this as well, and I'm gonna go with the 20 health one, that really seems to come in handy.

Kurosh - I hate you... I had so much to do tonight... now I'm gonna spend the rest of my time playing this stupid game.

Edit: the anti-curse/potion is essential after level 3/4... easy +ev purchase decision... same goes for extra 20 HPs... I think the item that lets you see your opponents cards comes in third in terms of usefulness.

Don't underestimate the invisibility ring. Comes in quite handy.

Got a question, this might be a no-brainer but I can't figure it out.

So when you attack, sometimes it doesn't do damage and it makes that 'shink' noise. Is this just a random occurance from time to time on your attacks. And btw...I'm not talking about when someone has layed a paralysis or has any type of shield. This happened to one of my attacks when the guy had no modifiers and it was like my third turn.

One of the cards that deals 8 damage has a modifier called parasomething. Paragut, I think. Whenever you use that card, the next attack on you is blocked.

ok cool, got another question too. When you dispel someone you take away all their modifiers. But when someone has full rune, does dispel not work at all?

It takes away any extra modifiers they have. Level 1 rune gives +4 attack, but if they used the sword card and have +6 attack, it'll make it +4.
