$60 SnG. Yes I knew he would fold. And of course, I showed.

Obviously standard, though I don't understand the show, might make him think, no?

PS. do you really raise to 1720 or push all in? No difference of course, but I'm surprised you'd go to the trouble of setting him in for exactly his stack while multitabling.

I thought the guy was the type of guy who would outthink himself if I raised a different amount and maybe even fold a weak ace (I had been pushing liberally).

I showed because they both have 1xBB left and so it really doesn't matter and I'm evil.

Not really, I personally am calling with at least top 40% if I am BB... it's +$EV to call with Q5o as BB if SB is pushing any two. But if I thought he would call with Q5o I probably would have folded.

So BB has less than 1000 chips after posting his blind? Isn't it +EV to call any two cards in his position, because you're pushing any two?

There's so much money in the pot already it's almost +$EV even if you know he calls with any two. I'm not sure about the structure, but if this is a turbo with antes of 50, it is +$EV to push if he calls with 80%.

He doesn't need a huge hand to call because if he folds and then shorty doubles it is pretty crappy, but he shouldn't come close to calling with 80%.

So, good push.

As you say, you pretty much have this thing locked up so showing isn't too -$EV, but it is a bit evil.

Yes, but next hand, the button is essentially all-in in the blind.
