I need some new ideas from other people. Suggestions? Heres a few I've been listening to, to get this thread started-

I'm not certain if I'm just getting old, or if rap has actually sucked since the early-mid 90's. Never heard of any of those. My mixed rap CD is made up of Dr. Dre, Biggy, 2-pac, House of Pain, Cypress Hill, NWA, Spice 1, Bone Thugs, Wu-Tang, and Juvenile.

here's some that i'd think would fit:
andre nickatina - honeycomb
andre nickatina - powda 4 the hoes
andre nicaktina & mac dre - andre 'n' andre
andre nickatina - killer whale
36 Mafia - i gotta stay high
mac dre - not my job (although i assume you already know about this)
mac dre & mista fab - this is how the game goes
chamillionare, flip, bun b - platinum stars

obviously there's a ton of other stuff coming out of the bay/texas/tennessee/etc that you'd probably like but this seems like a decent start.

Oh and "I'm a pisces" is the best Nickatina song.

12-15-2005, 12:38 AM
Big L - Ebonics
Big L - 98 Freestyle

This dude is insane. Too bad he got shot like nine times. Lately I'm listening to a lot of Swishahouse stuff... there's some decent lyrical complexity, and if you're into the screwed stuff, you'll enjoy the remixes. Otherwise... 7L & Esoteric, Aesop Rock, Necro (if you like annoying white dudes), older 36 Mafia stuff...

Eh, that's all for now. But get Big L. He's sick.
