I know someone who bakes a cake for Jesus and eats it with her family every Christmas.

Is this unusual? I found this hilarious.

I have never heard of this. Our custom is to drink heavily to celebrate birthdays.

Any reason is a good reason for cake as far as I am concerned, but yes that is definitely not part of any mainstream Christian belief of which I am aware.

Bad Christian! That's Jesus' cake!

I've never heard of this practice myself, but when it comes to spiritual stuff, there are lots of practices I find odd, sometimes amusing. But if baking a cake for Jesus helps these people to focus more on their spirituality and relationship with God I guess it's a good thing.

I had hash brownies with Jesus once, does that count?

Edit: Just wanted to say, that guy is way more intense in real life.

Jesus laments the cruel coincidence that his birthday happens to land on Christmas. Most people get presents for Christmas and their Birthday. He only gets one set of presents. Poor Jesus.

Heh. That took me way too long to figure out. There is a region here named St. Matthew's and I thought you somehow knew that.
