View Full Version : My "Magic" Copag Deck

Last night I had my regular weekly game, so I decided to bring my new Copag deck to see how everyone felt about them. Well, I don't know what the deal with these cards are, but they were dishing out some enormous hands and even bigger beats. We had pocket Aces 9 times in less than 60 hands!!! One girl had Aces twice, Kings once, Queens twice, and Jacks once. Funny thing is these hands were getting split up by tiny hands.
Ex. I have about $25 in chips
My buddy has only $2.75 left and blinds are $0.50/$1
He is on the big blind and I am UTG with AA

I raise to $3
Everyone folds to him with only $1.75 left.
(He geniunely was getting crap cards all night so I understand his frustration)
He pushes his remaining chips in and says "My turn to get lucky"
He flips 7 2 off
Flop comes 6 8 A
Turn 9
(I am yelling "no 10!!!")
River 10.

It didn't cost me much so I wasn't mad at him. We all had a good laugh at it, but c'mon 72.....that sucked. Needless to say everyone liked the deck and I will be ordering more in the future.

I once had a magic deck, I shuffled it and pulled out Avatar of Woe, didn't have the mana to play it though, that card is sick.

The Hammer strikes again. Adding another victim to it's tally and another story to it's legend. Remember this, Cricket, always: Fear The Hammer. Respect The Hammer. One never knows which mortal The Hammer is smiling down upon. Worse, one never knows who(m) The Hammer is about to kick in the nuts.
