This cat has adopted me. What should I call it?

It's male.
He's about a year old.
He is fixed.
He is very friendly.

Good lookin' dude, that cat. I like his style.

I've heard that cats really respond to hard consonants, like K.

Toonces, the driving cat.

OtisTheMarsupial
12-14-2005, 04:24 AM
Toonces is a great name, particularly for a tabby. However, I had a Toonces already. And I'm not keen on the idea of Toonces II or ReToonces or T2...

name him Riff

I had an awesome cat for like 12 years that looked just like this cat, but he recently died /images/graemlins/frown.gif You should definitely name your cat in his honor!

"What's your cat's name, Otis?"

"Askim."

*bending over to cat* "What's your name, sweetie?"

Had a friend who named his dog Asker. Funny as hell.

Funny, looks exactly like my older cat, who we took in as a stray...
He walked into a bowling alley bar on a busy Friday night while we were playing poker. No fear whatsoever. Great cat. Except ours is much bigger, and kills dogs for fun.

I prefer normal names for pets, so how about--

1. Steve
2. Bill
3. Keith

But if I was going to name a cat a funny name, it would be something related to a hobby or item that i liked...examples-

1. Tilty
2. Flopper
3. Allin
4. Bluffy
5. Chip

Awesome cat.

My brother in law adopted a cat just like this one (from a stripper who left him home alone and moved to another place - C*nt!).

He named the cat Louis (pronounced Lewey). When he is serious with the cat he calls him Louis (pronounced Lewis). Very effective and a great name.

I got married. Getting married is apparently equivalent to "getting neutered." I can't say I agree.

Given the general NSFW attitude in this forum, I'm guessing that the general poll would be that this is true by default (not that I agree either).

I just couldn't resist. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
