I’m trying to work on my play from the SB when dealing with a real short stack. Big stacks were trying to fold into the money. So I felt I needed to be aggressive against small stack, unfortunately I wasn’t getting any hands in the SB. Thoughts on the following two hands?

PartyPoker - NL Texas Hold'em $20 Buy-in + $2 Entry Fee Tournament | Level: 6 - 4 players (Converter: PGC (http://client.pokergrader.com))

Chip Counts:
Button: 4543 Chips
Hero: 1000 Chips
BB: 611 Chips
UTG: 1846 Chips

Hero is SB with 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif
Blinds are 100/200

PreFlop

Hand 1: If the BB will call you with any two, fold. If I were you, I'd push. According to SNGPT, it's +ev for you to push here unless he'll call witn any two. If he has any kind of calling range at all, you should push.

Hand 2: You should push absolutely every hand here. It's close with 32o & 42o, with 92o, it's a clear push.

First one, doesn't honestly matter that much, it's so close. I'd probably push.

Second one I'd definitely push

Thanks for the replies guys. I actually did put them through SNGPT and was a little surprised by the results.

I actually didn't have this read at the time of Hand 1, but the BB was folding way too much when he should have been calling with almost any two.

Second Hand, SNGPT actually says it's only +0.2EV here...surprised? I was!
