View Full Version : enjoying my time

Today I sat down for only an hour and a half hours at the nearest indian casino and had my biggest session (relative to hours played) yet. I made $107, mostly on the strength of two pretty big pots. My favorite was when I beat out the same woman for two hands in row and she proceeded to change seats to the one on my left. I felt flattered that I had gained enough respect from a player for her to move herself in order to have me act before her. I guess this post really doesn't mean anything to anyone but me, but I just wanted to thank everyone here for being so supportive and helpful. I've been enjoying my still limited time in the poker world and I feel like I am learning constantly. Maybe one day I'll run into some of you in the bigger stake games /images/smile.gif (but I think I'll put in at least a thousand hours or so at the lower stake games first) Aloha.

Good job Whelp. I hope you are mentally prepared to lose as well. It is inevitable. Your attitude seems great--let playing well be your reward. The money will follow but not always. Buckle up!

Just because she wanted to sit on left doesn't mean she respects you. Were the hands won on solid play or did you spike her? Just a thought.
