I signed up with Absolute through a large affiliate that advertises here in late October. However, my account with Absolute has still not been "linked" to the affiliate and I have yet to be paid.

I've emailed Absolute and they said it needs to be done manually.

How long does this usually take?

It took about a week for me at about the same time you signed up. Have you gotten the affiliate involved? You would think that the combination of their customer service and their relationship with Absolute would get things moving.

When it works right it happens within a couple days.

You have a serious problem and need to work closely with your affiliate. It is unlikely that this is going to be solved except by determined pressure.

I am now going to hijack your thread for a public service announcement. It is very important to use Internet Explorer when signing up at Absolute Poker with rakeback unless you want to end up like OP here. Other browsers are widely believed to carry a high risk of messing things up. Some major affiliates carry this warning but too many of them do not.

I'm not saying that you made this mistake as I have no idea.

About 10 days for me. Was working out quite nicely too until they changed their bonus system :/

They never took less than 4 days to help me with anything so I removed them from my site.

Yep...they're claiming this about me. I use Firefox, but my point is [censored] them...this is the 00's...there are other browsers. Grow up, AP.

Plus, once you clear the bonus, it's a TAG fest with 2 people to the flop. 9-handed plus bonus-clearing TAGS plus no rakeback = your site sucks.
