In my ever increasing effort to be the romantic smooth boyfriend that I am not naturally I need something to give a girl who is sick with the flu. I've already been making her tea, etc. but am looking for something to show up with to distract her. Any suggestions.

thanks (http://img.iskon.hr/kl/2004/09/28/0002020v.jpg) (NSFW probably) edit:I forgot

Holy [censored]! You're friend is hot!

Seriously, though, I suggest a stuffed animal.

Also, you might want to tag that picture with NSFW. It's borderline.

flowers are good, some hot soup (even better if you come over and make it)

movie is standard issue. If she doesnt have any cold medicine or anything, then id make a little "gift basket" with some vitamin C and thereflu and a movie or something

Get well flowers (not roses...something cheery like daisies.) Bath salts, bubble bath, soap, or scented candles. Maybe a pair of earrings or a bracelet...VS lingerie if she's been your girl for a while...to remind her that you still think she's sexy when she's hacking stuff up. Good luck =)

I always offer my wife some home-brewed Throat Coat when she has a sore throat, but she never takes me up on it. Some people just enjoy being sick I guess...

Throat Coat is the shiznit.

Bring her a bottle of OJ and some good (not canned) soup. There are a lot of really easy Chicken Soup recipies on food.com that are a hell of a lot more nutritious than canned crap.

I don't know if you're joking. I meant a mix cd, not like just one album.

I think he was harkening back to a simpler time when making a mix on a cassette took an entire evening or at least several hours of your time. Nowadays, you just slap a playlist together and BOOM burn it in 10 minutes, theres no feeling involved DAMMIT.

Call her and tell her you're going to the store, can you grab her anything, like maybe a magazine?

She will tell you what she likes to read, you get to know her better talk on the phone, she appreciates your consideration, it only costs a few bucks.

I opened this thread with the intention of making some cancer jokes. Thank you for disappointing.

fine fine, here's your chance...
I'm dating this girl and she just got diagnosed with cancer. Unfortuntately the chemo has caused her hair to fall out and I think bald women are ugly. What can I do to enjoy having sex with her again?
