Im a total investing noob but there stock price is almost the exact same as it was 1 year ago. With not to much change throughout the year.

I think everyone knew that Sony was going to make a PS3 a year ago.

AIL & Evan are right. Companies report stuff like this to their investors before they report it to the public, and Mr. Market has plenty of time to adjust his appraisal of the stock. If you're thinking of buying Sony stock as an investment, it all boils down to what you think the business is worth. Then compare that to the stock price and the company's future prospects and see if you have a margin of safety.
