I'm at school now and just recalling a hand from last night.

5/10 10-handed

Hero is MP2 with 9 /images/graemlins/club.gif9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

If not mentioned, they folded
Folded to me, I open-raise, CO cold calls, BB calls

Flop:
9 /images/graemlins/spade.gifT /images/graemlins/diamond.gifJ /images/graemlins/heart.gif

BB checks, I bet, CO calls, BB folds.

Turn: 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

I bet, CO calls.

River: Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I bet, CO raises, Hero?

A read would help, but I'm leaning towards a fold here.

If villain is aggressive I'm much happier checking to him on the river to induce a bluff. An aggressive villain will also bet two pair while a passive villain won't. No reads I think betting is fine.

Edit: Without a read I'm not folding.
