That's kind of sad. A 7 minute sweat! GL next time. Did it cash out ok?

What was your stack in relation to the blinds when you pushed?

12-12-2005, 07:38 PM
$180 cash.

Blinds were 3000/6000, stack was 50000, I pushed from UTG1, MP1 called.

I was thinkinga bout betting out 18000 and doing a stop and go, but i was OOP to any potential caller except for the blinds...

What's your line here Ulcabruinz?

I was 3rd lowest stack in the tourney.

Got it, I've been educated offline what a Stop and Go really is. Thanks Gobboboy!

by "Uh" he obviously means that in order to do a "stop n go," you NEED to be OOP.

also if im not mistaken, stop n go refers specifically to when youre NOT the pfr, right? maybe the term has broadened, but the classic example is button raises, you call in the blinds and push any flop (carries some fold equity than if you push pre-flop where he probably calls)

Correct, this is how it was just explained to me by Gobboboy.
