You've been having an awesome year so far. Would you consider making a thread that would show us some of your trades in 2005? It could be like a fflaque-style investing tutorial. Of course, beggars can't be choosers, but some stuff I would like to see (and I think would be beneficial for the forum at large) are:
1. at least 3 examples of successful trades and at least 1 example of an unsuccessful one
2. your thought process or analytical work done before going into the trade, including how you found the stock in the first place (message board, stock screener, etc.)
3. how you bought it (i.e., do you decide how many shares you'd like to own and then just start buying until you get there (i imagine with otc stuff, that sometimes (even with a bankroll of around $100k) it can be hard to get into or out of certain positions)? or do you just start buying and then play it by ear? or...?)
4. how you decide how much of your bankroll to put in any one idea
5. how/when you decide to sell (i.e., sell in pieces, or all at once? do you use "price targets" (or "% return targets") and then sell when you hit them, no matter what, or do you have an initial price target that you change during the course of the holding? do you use stop losses?)
6. do you just do stocks, or do you also do other more exotic stuff? options, REITs, currencies, commodities, futures, etc.?
7. about how many trades do you make in a day?
8. any side points you may want to make (like, "sometimes it feels weird when i see that my trades constituted 100% of the volume for a particular stock on a certain day," etc.)

Got 20k this morning on news of deal with pilot union. Took some profits @ .575 selling half (+300) and holding rest to see what it will do tomorrow, i'm thinking .65-.70.

got 10k of this on fri @ .40 as the stock was closing strong on vol and normally it will continue onto the next day, i sold .445 as (+450)...typically prices will stop at around round numbers..so .45,.50,.55 so figured the would stall it there plus i had to leave for most of the afternoon to do errands and i didn't want to hold, and in this case it helped tremendously as bad news came out and the stock tanked, i think this will be a multiday dropper as this stock will pretty much be worthless, coupled with i know of some big holders that are still in(one has 1.3 mil shares!) so if they dump too...watch out.

this one i had an alert set so when the price hit .70 i would know , it was set at .70 because as you can see for the past few wks it could break above .70 so a break above it normally will continue higher...also when i was alerted and started watching and noticed that the market makers were slowly moving up their prices and I picked up 5k @ .705, as with erhe i had leave and i sold @ .725 (+100)

the only other thing i traded was bbse which i basically made lunch money money it so overall ok day (+850) for not sleeping in 24 hrs

picked up 1k @ 7.15 on the gap up above the previous resistance of 7 on above average vol. these type of plays typically go up a little bit every day and then tank fast so you have to be careful on these.

6. I only trade stocks.
7. Depends on whats moving if its a slow day maybe only 1-2 trades or a good day maybe like 20-30
