I wasn't in this hand, but I found it interesting.

10/20 Party Poker, 10 handed.

UTG + 2 limps, MP2 calls, HERO has 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif and calls, MP4 limps, folds up to BB who calls.

No signficant post-flop aggression from any of the players, save for when they have made hands.

Flop: 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif A /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/spade.gif

BB checks, UTG+2 checks, HERO bets, MP3 raises, MP4 folds, BB folds, UTG+2 calls, HERO calls.

Turn: Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

UTG+2 checks, HERO checks, MP3 bets, UTG + 2 calls, HERO raises, MP3 calls, UTG + 2 calls.

River: 10 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

UTG + 2 checks, HERO bets, MP3 calls, UTG+2 calls.

I really didn't care for how Hero played this hand. He was putting in 2.5 BB for something he could have seen for only 1.5. The pot wasn't that big to justify playing for value. Anyone want to argue otherwise?

I agree completely. Wait to get that extra bet in once you make your hand.
