3 final tables in 3 days......

I've played some of the best poker of my life minus 3 hands in the last 3 days. Finished 11th out of just over 500 in a $25 Bodog tourney, 10th out of just over $1000 in a Party Poker tourney, and 3rd out of 180 in a $20 Stars tourney (took 2 brutal beats in that one too). Held the chip lead in each tourney for most of the time in each one. And I only have about $600 in profit. /images/graemlins/frown.gif Emotionally I am spent. Held the chip lead in each tourney too.

Has anyone else ever experienced a 3 day stretch like this. Its driving me crazy getting so close to victory and not coming away with one. I can't believe I've had 3 chances to win in 3 days.

Ok it was 2 final tables and an inch away from another. But 2 in three days just doesnt sound as good. Lol

Yes, welcome to my entire November, I made loads of final tables, way more than my results show on my site as I only put over $1000s up unless its significant(multiple in one day, back to back days of same event) . I had my best month ever in November, I crushed 20/40, made loads of final tables and now I just won $12k in the PokerStars 500k and I'm still not happy, I hate not winning tourneys.

Winning is everything. I've had a really good month making a ton of money, but no wins. When you get that close, anything but 1st sucks.

For 3 days this has been my story: if I have I have 2 pair, they have a set. If I have a pair of aces, they have two pair 74. If I have a straight, they make a boat on the river. If I loosen up, the donks get me. If I tighten up, I folded 20 times and then lose the 3 hands I play.

Hang in there. If you're playing well you'll eventually win one.

I won my first online event last week after numerous heartbreaks. There's a ton of variance and when the blinds get big, just remember, there's a big luck component.

I know this will be hard to believe, but I had 9 final tables w/2 wins in 12 tournaments within 7 days, between 200-700 players on Pacific and Paradise. Mostly $15 & $30 buy-ins. I made about 7K profit.

Since then I made 1 final table in 3 months.

i had 5 fts in a 1.5 week span about 2 weeks ago...


but had none since february (3) before that

I had two final tables in my first week of playing MTTs, won a package to the European Poker Tour finale in Moncao, and tripled my bankroll. I then went on a stretch of 30 with barely any in the money. It's streaky as hell, good luck /images/graemlins/smile.gif. I'm afraid I'm only beginning to see the very tip of the iceburg of MTTs.
