I'm bargain-hunting for my new PC (looking to MTT, keep large PT d-base). I want a cheap lcd monitor (2001FP) that i would probably buy separately, as is the case with my speakers, video card, and sound card. I'm looking at some manufacturers, but most of them tie you into to so many add-ons and crappy components that they are not worth my time. Could someone please recommend a company to me through which i could get a system with:
pentium D 3.0 ghz
2gb ddr2 ram
300gb+ HD
Windows XP OS
Some form of warranty
-and not much else
i'm essentially looking for a good bare-bones system, yet with a warranty. Any takers?
PS:which video card is considered the best deal among those that support dual monitors?

Before I was able to fix my 18 month old machine I was looking at Velocity Micro (http://www.velocitymicro.com/). You can get pretty much the machine you want and they seem to have a good rep (based on what I could read on the web, I don't know anybody who owns one).

ABS Computers (http://www.abscomputers.com/) made my current machine. They used to custom configure machines similar to the way Velocity Micro does now, but they seem to have abandoned that approach. I was happy with my machine until the recent problems and the fact that I had to take out the motherboard to gain access to the hard disk I decided to replace /images/graemlins/frown.gif.
