hmm, call me a donk, but I'd have called that river bet.

But really, like you mention, I think betting the turn is better.

Well, I guess you know the solution to your own problems. The tricky part here is: how much do you bet?

AK played really strangely.

On a serious note though I agree with betting the turn which i might end up going broke on not sure.

Betting turn is good to charge draws, but it also folds out weaker aces and checking here gives them a chance to take a stab at the pot. Also, raising turn means committing to calling a push. I think it's close between checking and betting the turn.

if you are going to overbet the flop i would certainly be this turn. there are many worse cards that could have hit
