Any thoughts appreciated. I am particularly interested in the turn.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter)

BB ($55.47)
Hero ($64.35)
MP ($56.60)
CO ($76.60)
Button ($49.25)
SB ($49.20)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold, CO calls $0.50, 2 folds, BB raises to $1.5, Hero calls $1.50, CO folds.

Flop: ($4.75) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero raises to $10, BB calls $5.

Turn: ($24.75) Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)

BB checks, Hero calls $52.35 (All-In), BB calls $43.47 (All-In).

I decide to push b/c villan probably just made trips w/ good kicker. Does anyone check behind and wait for a safe river (i.e., non 6 or Q)? The board is very safe looking for villan.

River: ($120.57) 6/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $120.57

Villan show AQ and scoops the pot

Don't miniraise the flop. Real raise or flat call.

Also, don't share results. I think you should bet $15 on the turn , and the rest on most rivers.

Shouldn't have posted the result, people will think this is a bad beat post. I wouldn't push here unless I knew I would get a call from the villain if he held Qx. In fact no, I wouldn't make this push ever, this could be AK the way the hand was played, I would just bet and reraise if villain raises.

Also, as said before, minbet is bad, screams big hand, keep the bets standardised.

I think you need a perfect second best hand for this to work. You got it, NH. You're play looks tremendously strong, only thing I'd call you with is AQ, and it would be a crying call bc I'm hoping you have KQ. If I have a read that you've been reasonably tight you lose me with that turn. Actually, you lost me with the flop minraise if you limp call UTG and your stats are like 20/10.

I am never slowplaying the ass-end of a boat

Given that he had AQ....raise more on flop to 12-14ish

Then when the Q hits board on the turn he gets cute and checks

You bet pot....he checkraises you all in and you call

Yeah, the river sucked, but I like a pot bet on turn better if checked to.

If he bets close to pot, then I push
