Villian switches gears between awful, maniac, LAG, and calling station. Hero $330, Villian covers.

1/3 NLHE 7-handed online

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. SB posts a blind of $1.
UTG calls $3, 1 fold, Villian calls $3, 3 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: ($9.50) 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue"> (2 players) </font>
Hero bets $8, UTG folds, Villian raises to $16, Hero raises to $63, Villian calls $47.

Turn: ($133) K /images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue"> (2 players) </font>
Hero bets $100, Villian calls $100.

River: ($333) A /images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue"> (2 players) </font>
Hero checks, Villian checks.

Yeah pretty much, against this guy I would just call the minraise. Not like you can count on a lot of fold equity and if he pushes turn, wow, that's ugly.

IMO, the flop is OK?!? My butchering happened on the turn. So, c/c the turn up to how much?

Flop is certainly not ok. It caused you to put in $100 on the turn as a significant dog. You can't analyze the turn play without considering how you got there.

Well explain to me then how I went wrong on the flop. Nice draw, *some* FE, and a favorite over most of villians holdings at that point.

I prefer pushing flop. I do this sometimes with draws, sets, 2 pair, combos and air. I get paid off alot. This is a good time to try it.

You're only a favorite with two cards to come, and stuck right inbetween those two cards is another betting round where you act first and the pot is huge.

I ain't pushing $320 into a $33 pot.
