View Full Version : Advice needed on basic concepts - $11 player

Hi 2+2'ers,

I've been playing a mix of limit games, MTT, and SnG's for about seven months. I've played about 150 SnG's at $6, $11, and $22. Since I enjoy SnG's, my current goal is to play LHE less often and become a profitable player at $11 SnG's. I'm currently a break-even player at $11.

I've been reading the forum and picking up bits of helpful information. However, as I've not read any books on NL tourneys (only LHE) and don't have a tutor, I'm sure there are some basic concepts I'm not aware of which are holding back my game.

What would you recommend I do to learn about standard play in various situations? As far as my learning style, I think I learn best of advice from others, and short articles which can then be put to practice in the game.
