My friends,

I started out Party w/ $500 in Yeti prop bet money + $50 in Party bonus money. Then I lost $100 prop bet to JA Sucker and was at $450.

Ran that $450 up to $1100 at Party BJ.

Held pretty much even over a few more sessions of BJ.

Then had sick poker beat for $200, then some Party BJ after and ran it to $575.

Then ran it back up to $850 at BJ.

Today ran it down to $500 at BJ with the sickest beats.

I am now going out, probably for about 8 hours. If I return to the computer tonight, I will be really drunk.

At that point, should I cash out my Party $500 or play BJ or play poker or play SNGs or do what?

Please provide your detailed thoughts here (including limits/betting/strategy for whatever game you choose if you think I should play).

Thank you,
El Diablo

I am not sure I can qualify as a friend, but I will offer my heartfelt advice.

It is clear to me based upon my extensive study in this forum that SNGs are not the way to go. Seriously infested with fish that you can't beat playing a solid game 'cause of the suckouts.

Same thing for NL ring -- you might do well for awhile, but sure enough someone's going to go all in with 76o and flop a straight against your perfectly played KK.

Limit poker might be doable but the more likely outcome is that it will only prolong the agony (witness your own QQ versus TT hand posted in this very forum).

I might have thought BJ was the way to go, but based partly on your own posts and horrendus beats you're taking, I think this is not the game for you -- not only is it cruel, but it seems to be specifically rigged against you (based upon the beats you've taken).

I'd like to suggest one option you haven't suggested -- the wonderful Side Bet. I've been making some serious bling on Side Bets, and I'm pretty confident that it's not that I'm running hot. I've taken a few sick beats, but overall it's a pretty true game without the monkey business of the others listed above, and one should be able to calculate the EV of a Side Bet in any particular hand based upon available information (I don't want to go into this too much here since I know you know what I'm talking about, and if the info becomes widely known it will likely cause a readjustment of the odds from Party).

Until Party institutes Pai Gow or Casino War (and we see exactly HOW they implement these games) I really think this is your best bet.

Your (trying to be a ) Friend,
Encouragingly,

Catt

I think you should stick to party BJ. Here is why:
You won at BJ first. Then you lost. Then you won. Then you lost. It doesnt take a math geek to figure out the pattern.

cashout, and then masturbate with 5 $100 bills.

Here's my step by step plan for you
1. play Party BJ

today i staked cdc. he wanted to buy himself lunch but had no money in his party account and no way of depositing there, and strictly wanted to play on party. i got 50% of his action and if he lost the stake he would starve. so i sent him $120. i got half his action and invented perhaps the greatest challenge ever.

1. sit at 6 tables, each with 5 BB.
2. if he goes bust he has to close that table and not open a new one
3. if his blind comes around and he has >10 BB he has to sit out, leave the table, and restribute the money in the form of 5 BB, rinse and repeat until he has 10 tables
4. for those who have a lot of time on their hands: pyramid this up to 100/200 by moving up whenever you have 30 BB at a set limit.

it worked out great, as he won each of us a totally sweet $37.50. i have yet to hear a trip report about his lunch, but im hoping it was steak. highly recommended horse though

I suggest another prop bet with prop-betting-fish Yeti

that or 5 concurrent hands of blackjack - YOU CAN'T LOSE WITH 5 HANDS!!!!!

You should take the $500 and go to the PLO $2000 tables and gambool it up. Cashing out is for the weak.

do you have a neteller ATM card? if you do just cash it out buy a hooker and some blow. some non-rigged BJ should be a nice change.

Sidebets until you run it up to $1k. If you run it up to $1k, PLO. If you run bad from sidebet suckouts and drop it down to $400, minbuy in at a $2k NL table and sit in fsuplayer. Every time you double up, leave the table, then sit in at the table again with $400. Rinse, repeat.

I really like 400nl (6max), but always take the sidebets. I'm going to have to go with red, but you could play black if you want (haha what a fish move that would be, but no matter). This way you are gambling in TWO different ways. Thats twice the EV, and twice the fun. Once you hit $1k in your account, switch to 1knl (again, max sidebets).
