you guys should really suck it up and download dominategame.com. Its hassle free on waiting for players (1 minute turn max), no clicking refresh repeatedly, I could go on about the vast superiority, but I'd ratehr play there.

i've played 2 games at dominate in the time you are waiting for this one to materialize!
If I'm playing poker for money, I don't want a time limit on a Risk game to hassle me. I like that Warfish is not a resource hog and works nicely when I am doing other things without timing me out. That is a big positive benefit of Warfish.
This is about playing with other OOTers, not maxing the opportunities to play Risk with random people.
how do you get into a game on ther?
Do I need anything? I have nothing. But I love risk.
PM me with your email address

dominate is not a resource hog. I am running a petiumII (2) 400mhz, and playing poker at the same time. Yes, you will get timed out if your 1 minute expires, and that has happned to me in at least a few games. Playing against random OOT'ers feels similar to complete random strangers. It would not be hard to organize an OOT game at dominate. I understand your feelings for playing at warfish, and agree with them. I just think some players get rather frustrated at warfish, and to staisfy their risk craving, can do so easily at dominategame.com

You guys *do* realize that you can create your own game w/ a timer of up to 30 minutes per turn, right? It's not hard coded at 1 minute. And you can also have it set just to finish the current player's turn.
I would just like to pubically state that you guys have very little winning chances.

Thats with the pay version. the free version is 1 minute max per turn, and you lose if you time out. This happens to free people regardless of the settings. Obviously to influence free users to pay the $20 or so.
I think the OOT Risk fad is starting to die down - arguing over which site to play will just accelerate the end.

is there a way to make the game private at dominate? ive played a few games there, and would rather play there, but how do we keep strsangers out of our game?

I'm going to shut up now. Obviously a lot has changed since I was really playing there last.
I just can't stand the slowness of Warfish. I started a game against Dynasty and five others last weekend. We played for four hours straight. It's now a week and a day later and there are still four people in the game.

Yes, blendedsui. I dont know how we could create a private game, but we could just create a game while everyone is waiting, and quickly sign up, similiar to getting 10 2p2's on a party BBJ table.

pointing out other sucky threads doesn't justify even suckier threads.
