At the river I really cant see him doing this with much else than a 7, but the odds are pretty huge. Is laying this down just plain wrong?

Lay it down? Blah...maybe.

Better time served figuring out how better not to face this situation.

Deciding you are ahead on this flop (indicative of your reraise), it was much too
small. Your hand is far to vulnerable to FD's (that might include overs to your 9's)
straight draws, etc.

Committment at this point should take a much more assertive line. The new pot
prior to your reraise was t150. You raised t65 more...giving the original raiser
raiser pretty attractive odds to continue. If you are reraising, you needed to raise a
full 100-125ish. Giving unquestionalbly incorrect odds - maybe picking up a nice little
pot here.

On this safe looking turn, it's time to push.

Yep, with my limited knowledge, raise more on the flop to get at least one of them out. Then all in on the turn. Any call at that point would be a pretty poor play, I'd say.
