I was sitting down at a table at PP, and one of the players started spewing off to the fish about RB, and telling him how it works, trying to get him to sign up a new account etc. Now we all know that rakeback is illegal on PP. Here is part of the convo that transpired.

Fish: nothing rookie about it
ScammerGuy: you want your rake back?

Is their some sort of etiquette that affiliates are supposed to follow, such as not doing crap like this? Should I send PP an email about this guy, should I post his SN here, or should I just not worry about this?

Why would you ever expect courteous behavior out of affiliates? I wouldn't let rt1 date my sister, and I /images/graemlins/heart.gif him so much. Also, he told me to tell morgant that morgant's a huge fish and he's waiting for a 1/2 HU match.

Hey Scotty

With the exception of a couple of very suspect known affiliates, I am confident that you will not find any of the affiliates listed here or on RRR, spamming the chat.

Most of us have very good relationships with the poker rooms and are under strict instructions never to spam chat rooms. If we do, we risk losing all our commission for extensive periods.

The individual in your chat will be an independent who will have so many different affiliate accounts set up that even if one gets closed down then only one player is screwed.

With the other affiliates, trying to get one new player could mena losing 4 or 5 hundred.

You could report him, he'll probably open a new account, though Party may be able to ban his IP address.
Posting his screen name here might break some anonimity rule...

so basically, let Party handle their own business and don't worry about little things like this that really don't affect me?

Hey, i hope my message didnt come across like that!
Apologies if so....

On the contrary you should worry and report things as you see fit. In effect this spammer is actually ruining you game by filling the chat with meaningless rubbish.

Players should be chatting about how bad each other's play is and calling each other names as usual...
