CO folded?

I would call since you picked up new outs by pairing your 6.

If you have to play this, it might have been cheaper to minraise the flop and hope for a free card...

14 outs to 2 pair or better, which makes you 2.29-to-1 with one card to come(assuming 2 pair will win). Pot is at 300 and it costs to 125 to see the next card you are getting 2.4 to 1 on your call. You are getting great odds on a call.

I think leading out on the turn might be a good idea? He could be betting with total air, and you have second pair with a bajillion outs.

Eh? Eh?

Most likely he's not betting with air. He wasn't last to act on the flop and he still bet. He was in the BB so he could have literally any 2 cards. He wasn't phased by the 2 calls on the flop. And his bet sizes suggest (at least to me) that he's protecting a hand, not trying to steal the pot. I checked the turn hoping that 2 calls on the flop would scare him into checking on the turn. It didn't.
