This is an indian $65 tournament. Just fun on a Friday. Blinds go up every 20 mins but players are generally bad. I just got moved to table 1 where I had to pay the BB again. Quite annoying. This was the 1st hand.
I am the BB with 3800 chips. Blinfs are 150/75
EP limps (big stack)
MP2 limps (medium stack, novice woman player)
How do I know? By the way she acts at the table.
BUT limps (medium stack, friendly)
I check with Js 8h (675 in the pot)
FLOP Ah 8c 3s, I check, all check.
MP2 and BUT seems uninterested in pot. Only one paying attention was EP but he checked rather quickly too.
TURN Ah 8c 3s Th, I bet 300 into the pot, EP insta-raised me double.
NEXT MOVE?
I considered his hands and I nothing really made sense? A set of 77 slowplaying the flop since it was so blah? But then again he mini raised me enough to call the the draw if I had one!?
TT? Naw he would have raised PF.
2 pair A8s? Once again I think he might bet this on the flop. But I could see the slowplay.
Maybe a hand like JTs or KTs? Raise to get a free showdown?
Maybe I am giving too much credit to this guy. No read thought but I suspected he was tight by his manners and chip arrangement. Very quiet player. I ended up folding here.
