Background is that I have had a wretched run of cards for 3 days and the tables are killing me. Had KK 8 times today and lost 7 of them. Here is the last.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls, MP1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 caps</font>, MP3 calls, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (21 SB) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 caps</font>, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (20.50 BB) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 caps</font>, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero calls, UTG calls.

River: (40.50 BB) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises</font>, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 50.50 BB

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
UTG has 6c 8s (two pair, nines and sixes).
MP1 has 8h Qh (flush, queen high).
MP2 has Qc Qd (two pair, queens and nines).
MP3 has 9c Kd (three of a kind, nines).
Hero has Kh Ks (two pair, kings and nines).
Outcome: MP1 wins 50.50 BB. </font>

I know things looked grim before the river but I had to keep pushing trying to get others out in this huge pot.

No problem with the way MP1 played it after his terrible pre-flop play, I would have done the same.

I hate the check-3bet on the flop; that's a very scary flop in a multiway pot. Lead out, if it gets raised and reraised I just might consider a heroic fold (of the best hand in this case, but might not always be the case). Sucks

This was quite deliberate as I wanted players out. I knew there would be a late position bet and wanted to try and get a couple out, they all stuck around like lemons though, even the UTG guy with bottom pair no kicker.

Meh, not that special. MP1 had monster doublegutter and flush draws. Your opponents had 16 collective outs against you. And you want to fold the river.

I know. I just couldn't make myself do it. Not been in a pot that big since play money many moons ago! /images/graemlins/frown.gif

My KK lost in the next 2 hands as well before I finally won my 2nd KK hand of the day! Still would have saved a ton of bets if I had folded the damn hand pre-flop every time though!
