On 5th, I'm really afraid that seat 7 has an 8 low as well. But in all probability, it's better than mine. I've got such a strong board (and a made low) that I felt that I should keep betting because he checked to me. Is that the right plan on 5th and 6th?

If I didn't hit the straight as well on the river, I should check behind, right?

Looks good to me. I'm not really sure what your opponents are check-calling with. On the river, if you brick I'd be inclined to check behind. You've got a pretty bad low and logically Seat 7 should only call if he made some kind of low and fold if not (unless he made Aces up or something).

You played this hand exactly how I would play it. I would probably bet the river with any 76-low, aces up, or trips, and check with an 87.

i would bet this hand for value because of the weakness shown by your opponents, as your check on 4th street bought you some information, and now it's time to use it. obviously you could be outdrawn and your low is middle of the road, but I believe a bet in this situation will be profitable over the long term.
