Ordering a Inspiron 6000 today. Im upgrading the screen to WUXGA, and Im reviewing the details of system and see this as the video card...

Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900

My question is, will this card be powerful enough to get me to 1900X1200, or should I/do I need to upgrade to the Radeon option. Maybe Im an idiot (very likely) and the screen and video card have nothing to do with each other, but I want to make sure. Thanks for any help.

The graphics are integrated with the mobo chipset and is not a separate graphics card. What's the resolution on the WUXGA screen? I'm assuming it's the 1900x1200 you state. My advice is to junk the integrated graphics if you want to do any gaming as well as poker.

Thanks for the Info. I will probably not be doing any gaming with this machine. Strictly web surfing, poker, and some word processing/excel.

According to this (http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/gma900/gma900.pdf), it says it supports up to 2048x1536 @85hz. So yes it should be good enough to support 1900x1200.
