NL 2-4 on Party. I have been at table for an hour with most of the same players as well. I have not played many hands, and when I have I have shown down winners. I have 414 to start hand and villian is pretty straight forward, I have noticed alot of players limping early with AK, AQ and big pairs. Have not seen villian get out of hand. In the hand you will see I call a flop bet, no questions just felt like making a call to see the turn,

How would you play this?

C/R turn to 48, bet 75 on river. Hopefully it's non-K river card.

Say I do that and a J, Q or A comes should I check and hope he thinks he has a better 2 pair then me and raise him on turn or still lead river

By C/R turn you are representing the 8, if he calls your C/R one of the cards you mention comes on the river I continue to be the aggressor and bet, these cards you mention will pay off your river bet. Maybe bet more if you think he has made 2 pr.

You should, I take advice from Donkeys, Mules, Asses, and Zebras. I never take advice from Yaks and Thompsons Gazelles. I sometimes take advice from the Greater Spotted Woodpecker that feeds in our garden.

Hope that helps.

I'd call the turn. To lead, or c/r reveals your hand. You have position, so you know you will get a river bet.
I view this hand as one in which you are just trying to get a reasonable bet from the villain, as it doesn't look like he has much either.
