December 13th - InterPoker Points Converted to Cash!

To get you into the festive mood at the start of our world famous 12 days to Christmas promotion, we thought we'd dump a load of cash into everyone’s account! - on December 13th we'll be converting all your Poker Points to CASH!

You will receive $0.50 for each Poker Point on your account! You’ll see this deposit within your cashier statement labelled with the transaction code RLM.

This conversion of Points will signal the end of the current Poker Point system (you'll stop getting Points as of the end of November). Look out for our new, improved Poker Point reward system starting in January.

Back to 12 days page You will receive $0.50 for each Poker Point on your account! You’ll see this deposit within your cashier statement labelled with the transaction code RLM.

I think someone has got the decimal point in the wrong place there, $0.05 per point would seem a more likely figure to me!

Anyone know if this redemption will be done automagically? Or do we have to initiate it manually on the 13th? I will be on a cruise on the 13th. Even though the ship has computers, I will not be able to download the client.

Sniper has a thread detailing all the Interpoker promotions and according to his information it's actually $0.005, so I guess he's getting $4.50...

LOL yes, it said $0.50 on thier website earlier, now it says $0.005 - Yup decimal point in the wrong place!

so my 1600 points is now worth $8 rather than $800!!

Where do you find your point balance? It used to be in the Player Info section of the poker room lobby, but I don't see it there now.

i wish caribbean sun did the .005 instead of some freerolls. I would rather have the $150 bucks I would have gotten then waste my time as a stud player playing a NL holdem freeroll.

Dictionary reference...

[ QUOTE ]

Automagically (adv) <jargon> /aw-toh-maj'i-klee/ or /aw-toh-maj'i-k*l-ee/

Automatically, but in a way that, for some reason (typically because it is too complicated, or too ugly, or perhaps even too trivial), the speaker doesn't feel like explaining to you.

E.g. "The C-INTERCAL compiler generates C, then automagically invokes cc to produce an executable."

This term is quite old, going back at least to the mid-70s in jargon and probably much earlier. The word `automagic' occurred in advertising (for a shirt-ironing gadget) as far back as the late 1940s.
