Bet $25 here. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but that's the right play.

This is correct because hero doesn't have enough of a hand to beat most other busted draws, and risks letting a pair of 8s beat his pair of 6s. If villain picked up a spade draw on the turn or is stubborn with 2 pair, well that's just unfortunate. And if you get caught without the goods, then that helps you to get paid in similar situations when it was you who made the backdoor hand.

okay thanks. Do you like this pot-bet on the flop?

I would push it like you did and try to take down the pot at every point I could since no one has shown any true strength. The key though is that your two stack sizes allowed such a bet on the river.

okay. it turns out he has 88xx with no flush draw. really threw me off the way he played the hand... I potted it on the river and he called.
