I was playing a 46/15 type tonight who was calling me a shill, accusing me of colluding and telling me how he wins all the time in Atlantic city. He kept talking about the website pokerconduct.net.

All about shills and colluders and how internet poker aint honest and it's all rigged.

Anyone up for a troll infestation?

That's a dumb website with a bunch of fake posts. They don't even verify e-mails sent to them; I've sent 3 e-mails about a site and they've posted them without checking. They're just looking for attention. 12 year olds are like that. /images/graemlins/smile.gif Trolling would just give them that attention. Ignore em.

Why o why did you kill my link Mike?
edit: nevermind I see you included the name when you killed the link. I'll try to read closer before replying to edits in future.

Why did you e-mail them? Did you have a legitimate concern and feel they could help you solve it? What was it?

It was a direct link to a site with poker ads all over it, as far as I can remember; which is not allowed.

If it wasn't a good man like yourself posting it, I would have deleted the name of the site, too.

I didn't realize that was policy. I'll be more careful.

Don't let that good man stuff get around, I have a reputation to protect, here.

I'm an affiliate, and a lot of my playerbase are, to put it politely, fish. A few of them saw the website and were concerned about it. I'd read it before, when they first started and looked like they might actually be a good resource, however after receiving these concerns I read it and thought it looked very sensationalistic.

So I made up some stories, and e-mailed them then. They were ones that would be very easy to verify, but they never even e-mailed me back to ask for hand histories or anything. Just went right ahead and posted 'em! So I could then say to the concerned players "Look at this crap, they post anything they get. It's a scam website."

Wow,
I didn't realize. The fact Mike killed their link for having a bunch of ads makes me think they are a just an ad site in disquise. I kind of feel dumb now for suggesting the troll campaign. It probably has an auto post from their e-mail box. I wonder if I posted them and said their site was BS if it would get put up. Do they pay that much attention?
