OOT,

Need your help here. My sister's baby is due on Valentine's day, and she just found out that it's a girl today. She's been discussing names with me and her boyfriend. He doesn't really care, but I think your name has a huge impact on you as you grow up. Seriously.

I could be wrong here, but it seems like exotic names always make hot girls, as long as the name isn't so exotic that it's tacky, or else it backfires and makes the chick fat.

My sister originally wanted to name her Layla, but I told her as she grew up guys would always sing the eric clapton song to her and that would get old super fast. Plus, last time I went to the strip club the chick who gave me a lap dance was named Layla. That name is now oficially out of the question.

Throw some names at me that you associate with beauty.


I'll add some of my own and have a poll, and I'm more than sure I can talk my sister into one of the better names.

Boy would she be pissed if she knew I was doing this.

What will the baby's last name be? That has a pretty big impact on what the first name should be.

Jemima Steele has a nice ring to it. Not many girls named Jemima.

Or Shaniqua Steele. That's a good name. It's alliterative too.

I'm not a big fan of Uma either. Was at the movies last night and there was a big cutout thing for The Producers with Uma laying across it. I swear she looked exactly like a transvestite. She is seriously ugly. Seriously. Does anyone know for sure if she was always female?

Why does wanting a daughter make me straight? I have a friend in Ohio named "Pinky" that has begged for me to father a kid with her, because I have the tall, blonde hair, blue-eyed genes, and I tell her no constantly.

that's what i'll be naming a girl if i ever have one, fwiw. strong, short, interesting, not too far out, and there are no shortened/lengthened versions. she'll have to be called ivy by everyone.

yes i know poison ivy and durf durf. but people called me 'hustin justin' when i was a kid. independently, i mean i changed school districts and kids would call me that. not 'disgustin justin' or something that even made sense. kids will use any retarded thing to gig on somebody's name.
