Why not just push to make the 1400 fold nearly anything? I guess he isnt gonna get involved here anyway, but w/e.

In case he actually has a hand. He hadn't established himself as being clever enough to bluff-push in that situation, if he ever reraised my miniraise I would have considered not doing it anymore.

EDIT: I realize that even without hitting the ICM this is probably a "fold aces" situation for the other guy, but I don't know for sure that he knows this.

The whole bubble strategy involves bullying the middle-sized stacks, and not the little stack, right? Because the middle stacks just want to fold until the little stack gets knocked out?
