is that the generally accepted play or is it close at all?

I personnally would have raised to isolate the limper and take control of the hand.

As for the flop...I don't know what to tell you.

I don't know what to do either, and I thought I knew everything /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I hate this spot. I want to call, but there's not enough room in my stack.

Who knows. I'm going to say fold, and everyone else is going to say push /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

the thing about a draw heavy board is that it means not only are you ahead of one pair hands like A8, etc., you are also ahead of a bunch of hands people like to semibluff these boards with (two spades, any 9, etc.), and, if you are against a made hand, you have draws to a stronger hand (any 9, possible a T). this is a great spot to get all your chips in on the flop.

A GREAT spot? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Your outs are shaky, and shorty just put in a little over half his stack. You gotta be at least a little worried here.

its a 22. shorty has no idea that what he put in is half his stack. hes just betting because he saw chris moneymaker do it on TV. i think youre reading way too much into this.

Could be. Donk would usually just hit the Raise button, I think.

Anyway, your points are valid, and I can't really argue against a push.

Why does hero just call preflop? How about a raise to 120?

Cuz it's level2 on a $22, making TT suck.
