Yes. The kind that causes a Southwest airliner to slide off the runway, crash through a fence, hit a car, and end up in the middle of 55th and Central. Geographically, Chicago is huge. Perhaps the storm wasn't as bad where you are located.

Okay, okay, it was a pretty heavy snow. I got 10 inches myself. To me a blizzard has a lot more wind involved, but it was a heck of a snow.

Never refer to a run-of-the-mill snowstorm as a blizzard, lest ye tempt the weather gods to show you what a real blizard is.

Note: I don't live in the Chicago area, so I don't have an informed opinion as to whether the current storm qualifies.

all i know is that i'm from California and i spent this week in denver. I'm back home now, but my bones are still cold.

Denver weather is interesting, 15 degrees in the morning, but enough sunshine in the afternoon that you can't wear a coat in the car. My first winter in dever a few years ago we got 4 feet of snow in the city, being stuck in my apt would have been better if the power hadn't been out for 3 of the 4 days...

I wouldn't mind getting snowed in in Denver. If you know what I mean.

Took me 4 hours to drive home from downtown yesterday....I am sure the same would be done to get a good game going!
