She's 25 and we've been together for four months. She digs movies like Zoolander, Austin Powers and The Big Lebowski (but I can't get her a bowling ball like in that Simpsons episode). She recently lost her watch so maybe I should get her a new one? She's also into training for triathlons.

any help would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance.

She sounds like a veritable grab bag of bad qualities. Except for liking Lebowski.

Happy Birthday dude. I was thinking of getting a watch for my gf too... we've been dating for 15 months now. Any help out there?

Are there nice Movado watches out there for ~$300? What else is a good brand for womens' watches? If no one knows, I *guess* I'll just end up hopping over to Tiffany's...

I got a girlfriend a cheap 90 buck cashmere top once from Marshal Fields for are our first christmas together. She loved it and the blow job frequency skyrocketted thereafter.

If you can't think of anything personal, you really can't go wrong with the standards e.g. jewellery, perfume, flowers, chocolate, cd....

Happy bday dude.

Going with the new watch would be good. Since she is into training/triathlons you could probably get her a bunch of massages from a local day spa.

P.S. I still can't believe that you have a girlfriend.

This is so simple it has to be mentioned: One of those Ironman watches.

Tell her you want to act out something from this, and turn up with $1000 and some green nail varnish...

A vibrator. B/c if you cannot pay attention enough to figure out what she wants for xmas, then you sure in hell are not doing it in the bed.

I'd go with the watch if that is something she needs/wants. Make is personal and thoughtful. How the average OOTiot would know better than you is shameful.

this is a capital idea.

you should also consider a card to personalize the gift a bit. maybe something like, "to my girlfriend - Merry Christmas and may all your triathlon finishes be no higher than 126th."

12-08-2005, 04:30 PM
I'd give her a card that says "To a wonderful girl, a great pal, and more." And put $182 in there, that way she can go out and by herself whatever she wants!

I just bought my wife two watches. I couldn't decide and I figured that if she liked them both she could keep them. They were not very expoensive because she won't wear an expensive one.
