It was 6s4s.
Though I can't comprehend his call on the flop.

Really not? You didnt include stacksizes but suppose effective stacks are $600. Then I dont blame someone to call with a gutshot+BD flush on the flop for $25. I probably would call there as well in his shoes. Maybe not much EV+ but cannot be much EV- either if it is some implied odds working there.

I pay off becuase ppl make really really dumb bluffs at 6 max, and becuase they make really dumb checkraises when they hit 2 pair.
ex. I flopped a 9 high flush yesterday playing 400 6max, lead every street OOP and got raised on the river. I called, he had made 2 pair. They just dont get it. If you read thomas kellers recent article, they dont get hand values.

Well unless I hit top two, he has no implied odds. I would have shut down after the flop. In fact, I probably would have folded if I had K8 two pair or something.
And if I had a single pair, I just would have checked through.
I guess I just didn't see it comming. I kept looking for how he could have hit a flush or OESD and didn't see it.

Excellent point. You simply can't call PSB's on the flop without much much deeper stacks if you have 5 effective outs on the flop. You might be able to raise as a semi-bluff on better boards but this isn't one of them.
