Ahahah that looks like a play I would do since I hate if he calls and an overcard to my 8 comes. I hope it's an OK play.. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm assuming you took the pot down with that raise, but there is absolutely no way I am risking my tournament with 85s this early in the game. His bet of 150 does pretty much say he does NOT have a 10, but he could just as easily have a bigger "8" than you and have you completely dominated. In your defense, however, your raise obviously represents that you DO have the 10, so more than likely he folds here without a 10. Maybe I am too weak, but I let em have the 60 chip pot here.

Chances that villian has an 8 are minimal, I don't think it's a valid concern. And, this push is in NO WAY representing a ten? Why would a ten ever push here? Imo, a 10 cold calls this raise. I think you're ahead, and the push is fine.

I do the same. And keep making these posts about playing from the blinds. It gives me the answers to situations I have trouble with without having to go through the effort of finding a hand and posting it. Thanks. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
