View Full Version : Stars 25k $10...whats my strategy now!

1st hour and I made 2 big hands. A flush and in the BB had Aces with 3 all-ins in front of methat held up...got 25k and am in good shape...how should I play this stack? This table has had 53 rebuys already...13mins in rebuy period left!

maybe you should post your hands as you get them here too so we can tell how to play every street

I'd tighten up and play solid hands like at the start of the tournment.

Haha, not playing. Too rich for me. I just enjoy watching whenever I know someone is from 2+2. Good luck man. Hope to see you at the FT (well, sweat you at the FT; I poor).

Kinda the way I continued thru the rebuy period. Just over 30k now....things have slowed down...made a cpl positional raises to no avail....lotsa time to do something still. as long as I dont get stupid.

almost to hour 4 break. 148k chips...got down to 10k on a real bad play...but tilted back to 20k and played well from there. 59 players left.

with 171k...last 15min didnt get me much with the blinds eating away....46 remain.

Ya I did....while I'm happy I got $2600+ I'm still bummed I didnt get the win. But hey I didnt get them in as a big dog like you stated. Seems too often the dogs win the race...oh well.

I did notice they went to making a deal as soon as I was gone. Wonder if they woulda wanted a 3-way had I won that pot. No matter, I wasnt in deal makin mode. Sure was a tiring 6+ hours tho! lotsa ups n downs....I made 3 huge mistakes I think. Donked off 1/4 mill chips between them I think. Instincts told me not to also!! ALWAYS go with instincts!
